Constitution
We are a family oriented bunch of fun loving, motorcycle riding individuals that enjoy the company of other bikers. We strive to attend as many functions and rallies as possible and to enjoy them to the fullest.
We are safety conscious and respect all other bikers and their ways.
We have no prejudice and prefer to do things the right way.
We support as many fund raising efforts as possible and support
other clubs in their endeavour to grow.
These are the rules and regulations for all members of this MC
Duties and responsibilities
President:
1. To attend Presidents meetings and convey discussions to fellow members.
2. To ensure all members adhere to the rules and regulations of the club.
3. To liaise with other Presidents and clubs regarding "jols" and meetings.
4. To maintain discipline and attend disciplinary hearings regarding club members.
5. To manage monthly meetings and organize functions.
Vice President
1. To chair meetings and keep meetings in order.
2. Nominations for new members and titles.
3. Attend disciplinary hearings and decide on corrective actions.
4. Keep members in line.
Secretary
1. Taking of monthly meetings minutes and distribution of it.
2. Setting up of agenda and making sure members are aware of meetings and functions.
3. Keeping control of asset register.
4. Maintaining of members profiles and performance register.
5. Keeping record of new members and members' information kept up to date.
Treasurer
1. Keeping record of monthly income and expenditure.
2. Balance sheet to be provided at all club meetings.
3. Issuing of receipts and statements to all members.
Fees and Monthly sub's
1. Joining fee of R100.00 to be paid on joining the RWMC
2. Monthly sub's of R50.00 to be paid monthly (Preferably via debit order)
3. If sub's are paid in advance for the year R100.00 discount.
4. Members that introduce new members that join the RWMC will be given a R50 rebate on their sub's.
Rules and Regulations
Behaviour
1.1 Always take pride in your colours.
1.2 Colours do not belong to the members but to the RWMC and must be returned if members leave.
1.3 Behaviour should always be representative of the RWMC and the biking community in general.
1.4 Behaviour of guests is the responsibility of the member the guest is with.
1.5 Colours can be removed for bad behaviour.
1.6 Respect the rules of the club and respect your fellow members.
1.7 Respect other clubs and their members.
Apprenticeship
1. To join the RWMC you must own a motorcycle. (400cc and up)
2. Prospect colours are issued at the discretion of the RWMC committee.
3. A prospect will be given a journeyman whose responsibility it will be to take the prospect through the ways of the club and the motorcycling community.
4. A journeyman may ask a prospect to perform certain tasks within reason.
5. Any full colour member may ask an prospect to perform certain tasks.
6. An apprentice will only be considered for full colours if he/she has attended at least 6 consecutive monthly meetings, 2 rallies with the club and 2 day jols with the club, or by discretion of the committee.
Road Rules
Before riding with the RWMC, a few basic checks for roadworthiness of your
bike.

Before the RWMC goes on a ride the President will decide whether or not we
will be riding in formation.
The following rules apply when riding in formation.
1. President in front, Road Captain in rear.(Or most senior member)
2. All bikes to be behind the President.
3. No overtaking when in formation is allowed.
4. Make sure 2 headlights are visible in your mirrors.
5. Only the President or Road Captain may change lanes of the formation.
6. Keep formation tight but not closer than 2 bike lengths.
7. No cars allowed in formation.
8. When riding in formation always consider those around you and be
aware of your fellow RWMC members in the formation.

Requirements of full colour members
To keep full colours a member needs to attend at least 10 of year's meetings.
Must attend at least 2 Rallies.
Must attend at least 4 day jols
Must pay monthly subs on time and not to fall into arrears.
General Rules
Family and work related responsibilities come before the RWMC.
Club rally/jol is compulsory.
Colours to be worn at all meetings and events.
No personal issues to be brought into the club
Fighting in colours will not be tolerated.
Have fun riding with the RWMC
